Línea de investigación
Investigación centrada en el desarrollo y la aplicación de algoritmos metaheurísticos bioinspirados e híbridos, integrando técnicas de machine learning y estrategias autoadaptativas basadas en datos. Sus aplicaciones están enfocadas en la resolución de problemas complejos de optimización combinatoria y en la optimización de modelos predictivos de apoyo a la toma de decisiones en áreas críticas como la salud (smart health), el reconocimiento de emociones, la predicción de desempeño y la titulación en educación superior, la gestión del riesgo financiero, entre otras.
